Allen Meadows - Score: 97 (2023 January)

A more subtle though still perceptible application of wood frames brooding but elegant, pure and ripe aromas of various dark berries, cassis, violet and pretty spice nuances. The rich, powerful and impressively concentrated broad-shouldered flavors coat the palate while offering excellent persistence and even better depth. This youthfully austere effort will definitely need at least a decade to unwind and should ultimately repay two. Magnificent.
